The Flowmasonic WUF 500 Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Meter is a state-of-the-art universal transit-time Flow meter designed using SLSI technology and low voltage broadband pulse transmission. While principally designed for the clean liquid application, the instrument is tolerant of liquids with small amounts of air bubbles or suspended solids found in most industrial environments.

1. SLSI technology designed. Less hardware component, low voltage broadband pulse transmission, low consumption power, high reliability, anti-jamming, and outstanding applicability.
2. User-friendly menu designed. Parameter of pipe range, pipe material, pipe wall thickness, output signal, etc. can be conveniently entered via the windows.
U.S., British and Metric measurement units are available.
3. Daily, monthly and yearly totalized flow: Totalized flow for the last 64 days and months as well as for the last 5 years are may be viewed.
Power 0n/off function: allow the viewing of time and flow rate as power is switched on and off 64 times. Also, the Flowmeter has a manual or automatic amendment during offline sessions.
Self-contained signal output, open collector, frequency.
4. Parallel operation of positive, negative and net flow totalizes with scale factor (span) and 7 digit display, while the output of totalize pulse and frequency output transmitted via the open collector.

How it Works Flowmasonic WUF 500
Flowmasonic WUF 500 works by measuring the speed of water flow using ultrasound. So the calculation of the flowing volume can be read on the ultrasonic transmitter WUF 500.
Using an ultrasonic sensor or ultrasonic transducer can measure the average speed of fluid flow in a pipe.
The principle of the WUF 500 ultrasonic flowmeter is to measure the average time difference between the sending and receiving signals with the direction of flow. So we get flow velocity., Which is then calculated by the area of the pipe cross section, we can get flow rate or volume flow flow in the pipe.
The type of fowmeter clamp on ultrasonic WUF 500 CF consists of an ultrasonic sensor or transducer and a flow computer or ultrasonic transmitter.
The function of the ultrasonic transducer is as a sensor to detect the speed of water flow in the pipe which is forwarded to the ultrasonic flow transmitter.
The data is then processed by calculating the distance calculation to the time difference from the ultrasonic sound wave emission so that the velocity of the ciran in the pipe can be obtained.
